Use cases · who the comparison helps and what result to copy

These scenarios show the ordered task, not a promised court outcome. Numbers come from published case write-ups used as regression checks. 非正式法律意见。

Use case 1 · personal-training pack after a health stop

Who / role: A gym member who prepaid 16000 yuan for an 80-session personal-training pack and stopped after 31 sessions because of health. The shop quotes a much lower refund and cites a contract fee.

Task / need: Before accepting 5050 yuan, the member must check the consumer-reason original-price path (list price 250 versus discount 200) and see whether a contract formula “prepaid × 80% − consumed” is actually better than the statutory trial.

Steps: Select consumer reason (health stays on this branch; switching needs a second check). Choose a session card and the discount privilege form. Enter prepaid 16000, purchased 80, used 31, list 250, discount 200, merchant quote 5050, and optional contract 6600. Then copy the comparison.

Result / outcome: Original-price redemption is 7750, statutory trial refund is 8250, the gap versus 5050 is 3200, and the contract figure 6600 is weaker than 8250 so the “more favorable” marker stays on the statutory trial. The page also reminds you that the published mediation result in that story was 5600 — proof that trial math is not the same as a settlement. Export the checklist of contract, payment, attendance, and chat evidence before you negotiate.

Use case 2 · beauty stored-value card quoted as an overdraft

Who / role: A beauty or nail-salon customer who still has unused stored value but is told that original-price consumption plus a penalty means they owe the shop extra money.

Task / need: Separate discount-price redemption from original-price redemption and test Article 20. The common teaching example is prepaid 500, original 100 per visit, member price 50, already used 8 times.

Steps: Choose consumer reason if you simply want to stop. Enter prepaid 500, used 8, list price 100, discount price 50, and the merchant’s claimed overdraft figure. Read the no-overdraft row, then copy the 12315 / consumer-association path list.

Result / outcome: Discount redemption is 400 (still within 500) while original-price redemption is 800 (300 above prepaid). The statutory trial refund is 0, and the flag says the merchant may not demand the extra 300. That is the opposite of “you must pay the shop.” Take the comparison and evidence list into negotiation rather than arguing from memory.

Use case 3 · gym closure on a time card or a gift-session pack

Who / role: A member whose gym closed or stopped service, including packs sold as “buy 50 sessions and get 10” or unlimited annual cards.

Task / need: Use the non-consumer-reason branch. For gifted homogeneous sessions, trial refund follows prepaid × remaining sessions ÷ (purchased + gifted). For an unlimited time card, use the remaining-term ratio; if the operator already stopped, count remaining term from the stop date.

Steps: Confirm the non-consumer reason after the warning dialog (closure or relocation, not mere health). For the published teaching numbers, enter prepaid 2000, purchased 50, gift 10, used 12 — remaining 48 of 60. Copy the result and the closed-shop path note about model judgments or group mediation, without treating it as a guaranteed award.

Result / outcome: The gift-session trial refund is 1600. A time-card user who checks “term already expired and I never requested service for my own reasons” instead sees trial refund 0 under Article 22 paragraph 3, which prevents a false positive leftover-day figure. Export the checklist and keep payment plus membership dates.
